Holidays part IV - Wulai!
Published by Todd Alperovitz on Tuesday, January 02, 2007 at 11:47 AMA short taxi ride from Xindian MRT station brought us to the mountain village of Wulai, whose resident's are mostly from the Atayal aboriginal tribe.
Taiwan has rich and diverse cultures outside of those that came from China. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

The area had a lot of family-oriented activities, most of which were closed when we went. However, we did take full advantage of the archery and air-powered rifle ranges.
Taipei County has a lot of wonderful places like Wulai that are really close and a great place to spend an afternoon. It's a great escape from the city.

Happy new year and merry christmas Toddwick
C-
I look foward to February when I can once again input humorous names into the bowling scoreboard at Ypsi-Arbor Lanes... I love it when the scoreboard flashes in bold letters:
Blood E Stools
STRIKE!
Most excellent caption on the second photo! The others are nice, too. I'll have to take a trip up to Wulai someday soon.
